Safeguarding & Respect

Safeguarding

At Bursledon Youth Football Club, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to providing a fun, friendly, and secure environment where young players can enjoy football, make friends, and grow in confidence

Everyone involved with the club — from coaches and managers to volunteers and committee members — shares a responsibility to protect children from harm and to promote a culture of trust, respect, and support.

We believe that every child, regardless of age, background, gender, or ability, has the right to feel safe and to be treated with care and respect.

If any concerns ever arise, they will always be taken seriously and handled swiftly and appropriately, in line with FA safeguarding guidelines.

Together, we can ensure that Bursledon Youth FC remains a place where children can learn, play, and thrive in a safe and positive environment.
